We stand tall today as undisputed leaders in packaging machinery for clients spread over 56 countries across the globe. Our company is supported by a sound manufacturing base at Baroda, Gujarat, with a state-of-the art facility spread across 1200 sq. metres of area, led by a qualified team of design and Production Engineers and manned by a dedicated, conscientious and highly skilled work force of 350 people. ACHIEVEMENTS An ISO 9001 certification from DET NORSKE VERITES for quality management system of design, manufacture and supply of flexible pouch packaging machine. All our machines are CE certified. Single-minded pursuit of excellence has not only won the company repeat orders from its customers, but also the privilege of being honored with an impressive list of awards for excellence in packaging from the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) consecutively for the years 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006. PROMOTERS Technical education and work experience in USA initiated and promoted the Packaging Division of Larsen and Toubro in 1972. We developed and manufactured Vertical Form / Fill / Seal Machines and Blister Packaging Machines for the pharma industry. Hands-on experience in developing better and faster models for Xerox Corp. at Rochester, USA in the late 1960s. AREA OF ACTIVITY In Technical collaboration with Shin Nihon Auto Pack Co. Ltd., Japan for technological transfers on Vertical Form/Fill/Seal Machines. One of the growing business is in building hollow/solids concrete block and paver machines which are manufactured at Baroda under technical collaboration with Columbia Machines Inc, USA. Today, we offer a wide array of equipment used for cartoning and palletization - areas where Pakona was welcomed as technical collaborator by world leaders like M/s. Columbia Machine Inc, USA for Palletizers; and M/s. Jacob White, UK for Cartoning machines. To each client, we offer the Pakona promise and the assurance of lasting performance and total satisfaction. SPECIALIZATION Have acquired the expertise and accumulated experience mainly in the field of Form / Fill / Seal machines which accounts for 60% of our total turnover. We also manufacture Semi Automatic Machines such as Sealers, Gas Flushing / Vacuum Packing Machines, Thermoforming and Blister Packing Machines, Auger / Volumetric Fillers, Liquid Fillers, Weigh metric Fillers and special purpose machines. Have sold over 1500 Form-Fill-Seal machines in just 10 years. Continuous developmental efforts have won us handsome dividends and laurels from our valued customers with their recommendations and repeat orders for the last so many years. As a result of the developmental efforts in the field of specialization, we are able to come up with better, faster and reasonably priced machines which out perform others, thus providing our customers better value additions and long lasting trouble-free operations for years to come.
